Early Childhood Education – La Ronge

Diploma – Year Two       

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma Program prepares learners in northern Saskatchewan to design developmentally appropriate curriculum, create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments, and build strong relationships with children, families, and community partners. In year two the program builds upon the concepts learned in year one which emphasizes holistic, play‑based approaches grounded in current research and topics that include early literacy and language, creative arts, numeracy, and inclusive, open‑ended play experiences.

Components of the program may be delivered using a hybrid delivery model, combining in-person and online instruction.

*Students accepted into the program must submit a current criminal record check, a vulnerable sector check and their immunization records before starting any practicum placement. Students who do not provide these documents may not be able to complete the program.
