Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professional- Air Ronge

Diploma – Year One        

The Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professional Program is a full‑time 2 year diploma that focuses on holistic, culturally appropriate approaches to healing and addictions counseling.  Brokered through SIIT, it integrates Indigenous and Western modalities to prepare learners to support clients of all ages.

Year 1 emphasizes personal development, mental‑health foundations, and hands‑on learning through classroom work, assignments, and two field placements.

The program may be delivered with in-person and remote instruction.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12, Adult 12, or GED/Canadian Adult Achievement Credential (CAEC)

  • A letter of intent for enrolling in program
*Students accepted into the program must submit a current criminal record check, a vulnerable sector check, and their immunization records before starting any practicum placement. Students who do not provide these documents may not be able to complete the program.
