Destiny completed the Hairstylist Diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2016 and is a certified Journeyman Hairstylist and due to her growing family, she decided to pursue Adult 12 at Northlands College and graduated in June of 2021. She then went on to complete the Office Administration Certification in June of 2022. After realizing she enjoyed business related classes she enrolled with Edwards School of Business through Northlands College and completed her first year of studies in April of 2023. Destiny received the McCreath Indigenous Student Award given to Indigenous women in Commerce in her second term of studies.
“Northlands College has given me so many opportunities and I am grateful that I am able to represent my home community by sharing knowledge I have acquired during my studies. I love learning and encouraging others to grow in all aspects of life by using education available to their advantage.
