Northlands College Announces New 90-Seat Daycare Facility in La Ronge

 

 

Northlands College is proud to receive support from the Ministry of Education for the development of a new 90-seat daycare facility in La Ronge. This initiative is a significant step toward reducing childcare barriers for students and staff living, studying, and working in northern Saskatchewan communities.

The announcement was made during a recent presentation at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, where Northlands College joined provincial leaders and education partners to highlight the province’s commitment to accessible early learning and child care.

First Qualified, First Accepted (FQFA)

To be deemed qualified, an applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and complete the application procedures which includes providing all required documents.

    • • Application form
    • • Copy of all transcripts
      • • If currently enrolled in high school, you must submit a Statement of Grades form.

  3. You will receive notification of any outstanding and/or additionally required documentation (eg.criminal record checks, abstracts, references, etc.). 

  4. If accepted, you must confirm your seat and secure funding to maintain your seat in the program.
