Northlands College Welcomes Three New Vice Presidents  

Northlands College is pleased to announce the appointment of three new vice presidents to our senior leadership team, effective July 21, 2025. These appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening our academic programs, supporting student success, and advancing our mission of transformative education across the North.

Jocelyn Vandall (Left in Image) – Vice President, Academics

We are delighted to welcome back Jocelyn Vandall to Northlands College as our new Vice President of Academics. Jocelyn is an accomplished educational leader with expertise in curriculum development, faculty growth, and culturally responsive programming. Holding a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Community Development from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina, and a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, Jocelyn has built a strong reputation for student-focused innovation and collaborative leadership. She is also deeply committed to community service and volunteerism in northern Saskatchewan.

Banjo Olaleye (Centre in Image)– Vice President, Student Services

Banjo Olaleye joins Northlands College with a proven record of student-centered leadership and academic advising excellence. Most recently Associate Director at Conestoga College, Banjo has also held senior roles at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a Master’s degree in English from the University of Saskatchewan and is completing a Ph.D. focused on cultural identity and literature. His dedication to mentorship, equity, and inclusive education aligns strongly with our institutional mission.

Catherine Koch (Right in Image) – Interim Vice President, Finance, Admin & Sustainability

Catherine Koch brings extensive executive-level experience in both finance and post-secondary leadership across Canada and internationally. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Chartered Director (CDir), and holder of two Master’s degrees from the University of Sheffield, Catherine has held senior roles at Southeast College, Bow Valley College, Keyano College, SAIT, Conestoga College, and the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. She has consistently championed strategic enrolment planning, Indigenous engagement, and quality processes in her work.

We are excited to welcome Catherine, Jocelyn, and Banjo to Northlands College. Their combined leadership, expertise, and passion for student success will play an essential role in guiding our institution through the next phase of growth and innovation.

First Qualified, First Accepted (FQFA)

To be deemed qualified, an applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and complete the application procedures which includes providing all required documents.
