Adult 10 – Bigstone

The Adult 10 helps adult learners get ready for Adult 12. You will build your skills in math and communications, along with taking additional courses that count toward your Adult 12 credits. By completing this program, you’ll gain a strong foundation and be prepared to move into an Adult 12 program accredited by the Ministry of Education. Students who need to complete Adult 10 for entry into other programs can also achieve this through this program.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 18 years of age and out of high school for at least one year.
  • Completion of Adult Essential Skills Levels 1 & 2 or
  • Score at the Adult 10 level on an academic assessment. After you apply, we will contact you to complete the assessment.
  • This program is for LLRIB students only.

REQUIRED DOCMENTS

  • Adult Essential Skills Level 1 and 2 Certificate of Completion or a completed academic assessment showing skills at the Adult 10 level.

  • August 31, 2026 – June 3, 2027

APPLICATION DEADLINE

  • This program accepts students all year until all seats are taken. If the program is full, qualified students will be put on a waitlist.

  • Students living on-reserve may contact their band for information on possible funding opportunities.
