Northlands College Welcomes New and Returning Learners for a Promising Academic Year

Northlands College is pleased to welcome both new and returning learners back to our campuses this week. As we open our doors for another exciting academic year, we remain deeply committed to serving the educational aspirations and goals of Northern Saskatchewan residents on Treaties 5, 6, 8, and 10, and the homeland of the Métis peoples.

In welcoming learners back, Karsten Henriksen, President & CEO of Northlands College, stated, “At Northlands College, we are excited to see our learners return and to welcome those joining us for the first time. This year, Northlands College will be looking to announce several new developments that will enhance the educational experience for our learners and the broader community: Stay tuned for updates on our Health and Wellness Facilities and Trades and Technology Facilities. We are continuously working to upgrade and enhance these spaces to provide our learners with the best possible environment for their studies and practical training.

We are also thrilled to introduce new programming opportunities that align with the evolving needs of our region. These programs are designed to equip our learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s dynamic job market.As the new academic year begins, Northlands College remains dedicated to fostering an environment of excellence, inclusivity, and growth. To be deemed qualified, an applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and complete the application procedures which includes providing all required documents.

    • • Copy of all transcripts
      • • If currently enrolled in high school, you must submit a Statement of Grades form.

  3. You will receive notification of any outstanding and/or additionally required documentation (eg.criminal record checks, abstracts, references, etc.). 

  4. If accepted, you must confirm your seat and secure funding to maintain your seat in the program.
