Adult Essential Skills – La Ronge

Our Adult Essential Skills Program is here to help you build confidence and unlock new opportunities! Designed for adult students at the Pre-Adult 10 level. The program is divided into levels 1 and 2. Areas of study include:

  • Reading, Numeracy and Writing
  • Digital Literacy
  • Problem Solving and Communication
  • Collaboration & Adaptability
  • Creativity & Innovation

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 18 years of age and out of high school for at least one year.
  • You must score at the Adult Essential Skills level on an academic assessment. After you apply, we will contact you to complete the assessment.

  • La Ronge, SK

PROGRAM DATE

  • August 31, 2026 – June 3, 2027

APPLICATION DEADLINE

  • This program accepts students all year until all seats are taken. If the program is full, qualified students will be put on a waitlist.
Selection Process

FUNDING

  • Students living off reserve can apply for Saskatchewan Income Support (SIS) and may be eligible for the Employment and Training Incentive (ETI).
  • Student living on-reserve may contact their band for information on possible funding opportunities.
