Northlands College Expands Mineral Exploration Techniques Program to Buffalo Narrows, SK

[Buffalo Narrows, SK –  May 10, 2024] – Northlands College is proud to announce a significant milestone in its commitment to empowering Northern communities and meeting the evolving needs of the mining industry. In response to increasing demand from both local communities and the mining sector, Northlands College is relocating its Mineral Exploration Techniques program to Buffalo Narrows, SK, on the west side of Northern Saskatchewan.

This strategic move comes as part of Northlands College’s ongoing efforts to provide industry-specific skills to Northern residents, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the mining sector. With the focus shifting towards meeting the needs of industry partners, Northlands College is taking proactive steps to ensure that educational opportunities are readily accessible to rural communities.

To be deemed qualified, an applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and complete the application procedures which includes providing all required documents.

      • • If currently enrolled in high school, you must submit a Statement of Grades form.
