In today’s fast-moving, high-tech world, the demand for computer skills has never been greater. For the first time ever, Northlands College is introducing a full slate of courses towards the diploma in Computer Science from the University of Regina, which can be taken entirely in La Ronge. Learners will experience a blend of in-person and in-class remote delivery, as well as labs. Graduates may find employment in areas as diverse as information technology, computer programming, software development, IT network analysis, IT security analysis, database analysis, data management and analytics, and technical support.
Applicants must be proficient in the English language.
Learners will complete 60 credit hours of required courses and electives over three years, ranging between three to four courses per term. Graduates of the diploma program may ladder into the full degree on campus in Regina.
