Carpentry – Level 1

Northlands College is pleased to share information about an upcoming Level 1 Carpentry course delivered in partnership with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC).
  • Course Dates: May 25, 2027 – July 23, 2027
  • Location: Air Ronge
  • Registration Opens: May 28, 2026
Important Registration Information: 
  • All applications and registrations are completed through SATCC, not Northlands College.
  • Prospective students must be registered as an apprentice with SATCC.
  • Apprentices are required to have an employer who will sponsor and register them as an apprentice with SATCC.

Selection Process

First Qualified, First Accepted (FQFA)

To be deemed qualified, an applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and complete the application procedures which includes providing all required documents.

    • • Application form
    • • Copy of all transcripts
      • • If currently enrolled in high school, you must submit a Statement of Grades form.

  3. You will receive notification of any outstanding and/or additionally required documentation (eg.criminal record checks, abstracts, references, etc.). 

  4. If accepted, you must confirm your seat and secure funding to maintain your seat in the program.
