Year One Of Four-Year Degree

The four‑year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program prepares future teachers for work with children from Pre‑Kindergarten to Grade 8, blending classroom experience with strong instructional and subject‑area training. With rising demand for educators across Northern Saskatchewan, the program builds the skills and cultural understanding needed to support diverse learners and strengthen local schools. Applications for Year 1 are now open, with local delivery available in La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows, Creighton, Île‑à‑la‑Crosse, and La Loche.

Students will transfer to Prince Albert or Saskatoon for Years 2–4.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 or Adult 12 Diploma with an overall average of 70% in core subjects
  • Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Earth Science 30, or Computer Science 30; 30- language other than English, or a fine/performing art; Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30; History 30, Native Studies 30, or Social Studies 30.
